Born September 21, 1955 in Denver Colorado.

Graduated Thomas Jefferson High School 1973

Associate of Arts Degree, Arapahoe Community College - Art History, Painting, Life Drawing, Design, and Psychology in 1975.

Advance placement at the Colorado Institute of Art in 1985, receiving Associate Degree Advertising Design. Taught workshops in Illustration there as well.

David worked as Art Director for an international publishing company and started working in the television and film business in the late 80's. While working in a post production company called Telemation, he became involved with the Colorado Film and Video Association, producing their newsletter which later became "Exposed" magazine. He served on their board of directors and became the head chair of their publications committee, designing the Colorado Production Resource Guide for several years running. When Telemation closed their doors, he decided to form his own freelance art company called Full Spectrum Arts & Services, getting involved in many divers projects including conceptual art on several independent film projects. He has owned and operated his own freelance art company for many years, amassing a very impressive client list.

Awards:
Won his first art contest at the age of 9. Has won best in show, been runner up and won "Best Use of Color" several times at both the Starfest and Mile Hi Con Sci-Fi conventions among others. The US Commerce Association has chosen Full Spectrum Arts for the Best of Littleton Awards in the Artists classification every year since 2010. Full Spectrum Arts & Services has been recognized by the Small Business Institute for Excellence in Commerce, receiving the 2013 Colorado Excellence Award.

Painting expert, 2-D and 3-D animation, technical & conventional illustrations, fine art, storyboards, matte painting, web design, multi-media, any type of advertising or print work, photography, photo retouching and digital manipulation, videography, editing, trade show exhibits, set design, portraiture, conceptual art, cartoons, caricatures, etc. Call it art -David does it.

David is also and excellent musician and is experienced in recording, editing, producing and engineering audio tracks for presentations in any media.

Significant Commissions:
Commissioned by the University of Colorado to design a poster called "Olympus Mons" for the "Case for Mars IV", a Conference on International Exploration. That led to being commissioned by the Ohio Center of Science & Industry to paint a piece called " Valles Marineris" used for the "Mission to Mars" exhibit which toured the U.S. for four years and was seen by four million people. Worked on a project for the Smithsonian Institute doing conceptual art and animations on video presentation for the anniversary of the Viking Mission (in honor of Carl Sagan).
